Jillian Elko has handled thousands of matters ranging from DWI to First Degree Murder. Ms. Elko has experience representing clients in both jury and bench trials, as well as extensive litigation experience, having argued countless motions, conducted investigations, and developed defenses that have routinely led to highly favorable resolutions. Ms. Elko has also achieved outstanding results for clients in numerous detention hearings. She has presented continuing legal education classes on Brady / Discovery Violations and Criminal Justice Reform /Detention Hearings.

Ms. Elko served as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender for over a decade in the Bergen and Passaic trial regions and is passionate about fighting for the rights of individuals facing criminal charges.

In addition to continuing her criminal defense practice, Ms. Elko will leverage her years of courtroom experience to pursue claims on behalf of those asserting workplace discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.

Ms. Elko graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in History and a minor in Jewish Studies before graduating from Duquesne Univerity Kline School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree.
